Diwali, the festival of lights, fireworks, get togethers, finger-lickin desserts and traditional attires, is one among the much-awaited occasions in India.
Preparations for Diwali in India include cleaning, renovating, and decorating homes and workplaces. During the celebrations, places like temples, homes, shops and office buildings are brightly illuminated. Revellers adorn themselves in their finest clothes, illuminate the interior and exterior of their homes and offices with diyas (oil lamps or candles), worship Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and wealth, light fireworks, and partake in family feasts, where sweets and gifts are shared, as Diwali marks the beginning of a new year.
Offices in India have a trend of including traditional outfits as a part of their Diwali celebrations, and Silicon IT Hub too follows this trend. Decorations, celebrations and gorgeous appearances, all formed a part of the euphoria here.
Diwali was celebrated on 6th November 2018 and it was a very special day for the Silicon family as the celebrations included the entire team.
The whole Silicon family reached on time, as planned, and began the day by worshipping Goddess Lakshmi, followed by the festivities, which included making creative rangoli designs (hand made patterns created on the floor using colored rice, colored sand or flower petals), decorating the office space and some candid photography.
It was a day well spent, with all play and no work and the entire Silicon family participating actively in the celebrations, exchanging sweets and new year greetings.
The grand celebrations concluded with the management distributing sweets to all the employees as a token of love.
Everyone was in a happy and blissful mood, and excited too, as they would get to spend the most awaited Diwali vacations with their families back home.
It was a memorable day for everyone at Silicon IT Hub, as they celebrated the festival of lights with their colleagues.
